Aleph Course

In the Aleph course, the first course at the beginner level, we learn all the letters, reading, writing and correct pronunciation. We learn words of introduction and basic self-introduction. We learn basic verbs from everyday life, We learn to introduce our home and our family – who they are, where they are from, how old they are. And we finally start using Hebrew on the street – in a restaurant, in the market and in a store.

1st

Session - Introduction

  • Letters: א, ת, ה, י, מ, נ

  • Vowels: Kmetz-Patah, Hirik, Shva

2nd

Session - Different people, different countries

  • How are you?

  • Where are you from?

  • Letters: ג, ד, ל, ש, ר, ו

  • Vowels: Segol-Tsira, Kibutz-Shuruk

3rd

Session - A lot of words

  • Who is it? What is it?

  • He and She

  • Letters: ז, ח, ט

  • Grammar:

    • masculine-feminine

    • Definite Article

    • Possessive

4th

Session - Single versus many

  • What are these? Who are these?

  • Letters: ס, ע, צ, ק

  • Grammar: singular plural  

5th

Session - There is no sea in Jerusalem.

  • Verbs: live, study

  • Letters: ב, כ פ

  • Grammer: singular and plural verbs

  • Syntax: there is / there is not

6th

Session - Not resting for a moment

  • What do you do in life?

  • Letters: ג', ז', צ' לועזי

  • Verbs: speaking, doing, working, studying​
